Showing Stocking Tops

With my wife's permission, I am thinking of posting some photos of
her that I have taken over the years. I want to share, for private use,
but I want to retain copyright. (For example, I do not want any
commercial use of the photos.) Can I put my mark "hownow" on the
photos (my own property) and post them here?

Thanks for clarifying. I apologize if this has been discussed before.

In this case, it appears that your copyright will reflect your user name here, and that's good. If the name and the copyright mark are not obviously from the same person, the resulting confusion could cause a stir: our moderators might delete your pics immediately.

Note to all: when posting your own copyrighted pics, be sure to make it clear that you're the owner. Thanks.
