Showing Stocking Tops

Pardon me if this topic has been addressed before.

I COMPLETELY understand these rules:
• NO Pics with Markings or COPYRIGHT PICS (unless you own the copyright).
• NO URLS of other sites on pics.

I have many vintage images with URLs on them by organizations
that obviously do not own the copyrights. For example, I have photos
marked www. retroraunch.com, www. retrolady.org, Blue Vanities,
Concor Scan, and even groups.yahoo.com/group/showing_stocking_tops_2 .
(I sometimes have the same photo without any markings.)

I would never post images with the markings. But what if I crop the
photos so that the URL or name is cut off? Do you think I could
post them then? I considered doing this without asking and
probably no one would know. But I decided to ask.

Thank you for your question

This is a very grey area, in short what you do to a picture on your pc is your business,
As I am sure you are aware, we got into a lawsuit for showing pictures with copyright

That said I think the vintage section is a different kettle of fish (because of age)

The problem we have is that some copyrights are true copyrights & declare ownership
others (like my own, legsrus & lazyduck) for example are more of an advert & Im sure we would be flattered to see them elsewhere

So to answer your question, we cannot accept pictures with any marks unless they are your own,

Thanks for your answer. I understand that this is a delicate matter.
I was only thinking about the Vintage section.
