Showing Stocking Tops

OK - Technical question here so not sure if you'll have an answer...

I find the New Posts Icons (The little yellow post-it) to the left of a message very useful - with so many people posting it helps me see where I've been, if people have replied to posts I've already read etc...

Every now and again they all go grey as though I've read the entire board... It's just happend again as I was part way through one thread - There were about 7 or 8 messages marked as new - I read one and when I returned to the list they were all grey (marked as read) but the message title / link was still black so I could see the ones I'd not clicked on yet.

Any ideas as to why this happens - is it happening to anyone else?

I Know what you mean & yes it is frustrating to say the least, I think it happens when their is a tiny break in transmission or something like that

But if you look at the top right of the page under the tool bar you should see " veiw posts since last visit" click on that & it will show you all the new posts also
