I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY I AM ON PROBATION AND WHAT I VIOLATED?
I HAVE NO MESSEGES AND CANT GET INTO AREAS...I THOUGHT I FOLLOWED ALL THE GUIDELINES.THANK YOU..

ALL THE THE PHOTOS THAT WERE POSTED IN THE LAST WEEK WERE WEBFINDS FROM A BLOG AND I THOUGHT THEY WERE ALL WITHIN THE GUIDE LINES ON THE FORUM WITH NO XXX OR COPYRIGHTS, TAGS OR URLS....IF A VIOLATION WAS COMMITED IT WAS UNKNIOWING AND UNINTENTIONAL .....COHIBA

I see a note from moderator bas that there are copyrighted pictures in one of your posts. I took a look, and sure enough, here are three marked pics in that message:

I assume that is the reason for the probation.

With all due respect, how did I know that they were copyright pictures. In the last week I added aprox 100 photos to the forum. These 3 came from the same webfind with all the other photos and did not see any copyrights to them....I did not know I was violating the guidelines....and for that I am punished...Cohiba

It is the responsibility of the poster (in this case you) to make sure that the pics you post do not infringe on ANY of our rules.

You state that; "With all due respect, how did I know that they were copyright pictures", well they are clearly marked on the bottom of each pic!!

You also state that; "I did not know I was violating the guidelines....and for that I am punished", well sadly because these 3 DO have copyright notices on them moderator bas was RIGHT to put you on probation because that is our procedure, and it certainly is NOT meant as a personal dig at your good self, so hopefully you will see your probation as something that has to be done, and in the meantime why not re-aqauint yourself with the rules Very Happy

I can only repeat what my fellow Moderators say above, the above material can get the site closed down, as simple as that, (those 3 will be removed as we are violating copyright)

As lambo says, please re aquaint yourself with the rules, & if you are moving pictures from elseware, take care with copyright marks, we cannot have, & do not want them on the site
