I`ve been a member for a long time, got to VIP and posted personal pics of my lovely wife, then the site went wonky. When it was up again I was only a GOLD member and now I`m nothing!!!
Unfortunately I don`t get the time to be online as much as I`d like and I`m sure that`s the case for all of us, including some of the admin people.
Confused and disappointed is really an understatement !!!

I don't know about the site going wonky - I've been on most days for the past couple of years - I can only remember it being down for a matter of the odd day or so.

Even VIPs will be downgraded if they stop contributing. I'm sure one of the Admins will be in touch soon.

Well, I can say without any doubt the reason for your downgrade - 70 posts in 2.5 years. We like to have our members posting at least every so often. My suggestion:

Reapply for gold and then make an occasional post when you are browsing the gold section. Can be as simple as "good job" or "great pic", etc. Show that you are encouraging others to post pix (after all, where would we be if everyone decided to not post pix) and you will have no problem retaining your gold status.

Not sure about the "wonky" part on the site, perhaps that was very early on when this sight was reincarnated from the old "proboards" sight? I've been on since the beginning and only remember one downtime early on for several days.

If you know you are going to be offline for an extended amount of time, I'd suggest dropping a line in here and letting us know. That will hopefully cause this from happening again.

When one of admin's pokes their head in here, I'll let them put you back to Gold status - I would but I'm sure I'd screw something up.
