Some times when i look at the board early in the morning 05.00 CET, there are some assholes who use this board to advertise for porn.
Maybe an idea to give some person who lives in Europe like me the possibility to remove them.

I have experience with keeping up several boards.

Hi John, I also see these posts it seems earlier than the mods can pick them up - and they seem to be increasing. Is there no way for anyone posting to manually input codes, or get an authorising e-mail to which they can respond, before posting? (Could be this is what I did when I joined - by the old grey cells aren't what they were!). Now, where's me cocoa? Rolling Eyes

Not being tecnichal myself, but I am sure that Simon will/is trying to sort the problem out, all we can do at this moment is delete them as soon as we see them come in

It seems that these people know how this software works and have found a way to post without going through the usual sign-up routine. We do delete them as soon as we see them but it's pretty much unavoidable.

There is a solution to this (changing file names so they can't do it) but there is also a new version of the software out so once it has had time to settle down, I'll test and install it and it's sure to foil them.

In the mean time, don't worry, we're well aware of them and delete them ASAP. There are 8 of us keeping this place going so it's not too long before someone logs in and gets rid of them Smile
